2013 Cancun-Riviera Maya Wine & Food Festival Scheduled for March 14 - 17

El Dorado Spa Resorts & Hotels, an all-inclusive beachfront resort company in the Riviera Maya, Mexico, announced Wednesday that it has been selected as official host hotel of the Cancun-Riviera Maya Wine & Food Festival (CRMWFF). Good Eats - Guanabana (Soursop)

A few days ago, on our drive back from Belize, I spotted these unfortunate looking fruit growing on a large tree in Limones. I immediately recognized the fruit as Guanabana or Soursop has been getting a lot of facetime recently on the internet, touted by many for its possible cancer curing/inhibiting qualities. Best BBQ in San Pedro? Estel's on the Beach!

There is a lot of really good food in Belize. Off the top of my head, some of my most fondly remembered meals have been served up at Hannah's in San Ignacio, El Fogon in San Pedro and Miss Robina's roadside lean-to in Burrell Boom! We have tried lots of eateries on the island, with the expected mixed reviews but there is one place we return to time and time again; Estel's Dine on the Beach. Read More...
