St. Patrick's Day Bash at The Luna Blue Hotel
Once again, Tony and Cheri at the Luna Blue Hotel hosted the "it" party for St. Patrick's Day! Packed to the palapa with locals and tourists alike, the Tiki Bar was hopping as Chris Bolister cranked out traditional Irish tunes and a long playlist of favorites. Business was so brisk, the bar even ran out of beer at one point! There were people dancing in the garden and smiling faces everywhere you looked. St. Patrick's Day could otherwise have gone unnoticed in this part of the world so a big "thank you" to Tony and Cheri for going to great lengths to provide us with a little taste of back home here in our new home, Playa del Carmen. Here are just a few pictures from last night. As always, apologies to those whose name I don't know or have forgotten. I'm still nursing the hangover.
