The second annual Puerto Aventuras Charitable Golf Tournament will be held on Wednesday, February 29, 2012. The money raised will benefit the high school in the Poblado. This school building is about 90% complete, and is in its first year of operation with 40 children attending. The teachers expect next year’s enrollment to be about double. Last year’s golf tournament generated $8500 usd and allowed the addition of doors and windows to the building. This year, the money raised will again be dedicated to continued improvements in the facility.
