Fer Ruvel, Lari Ruiz Velasco, and Marco Castro will be touring in the Riviera Maya this holiday season as the Larifer Power Trio band.

Internationally acclaimed bass player, singer and songwriter Fer Ruvel is known for his stylistic diversity that blends jazz-funk with rhythm and blues, taking old and new cover songs to a new and exciting level. Adding even more flavor to the experience, Fer improvises with the melody and arpeggio throughout his performances.

Joining Fer onstage is his brother, guitarist Lari Ruz Velasco. Together, their two names create the band name "Larifer".

Lari has worked in the recording studio and shared the stage with renowned artists like Billy Branch (legendary harmonica player from Chicago), Olan Christopher (producer of John Lee Hooker), and Manhattan Transfer; today he forms part of the band for Alfonso Andre (Caifanes) and Alejandra Guzman.

The brothers are joined by drummer Marco Castro, creating the perfect Power Trio. Marco adds a stimulating force to the group as he pushes musical limits by fusing jazz, funk and rhythm and blues. Marco studied jazz at the Escuela Superior de Musica del INBA. He has played with Mexican jazz musicians like Eduardo Piastro, Emmanuel Mora (Xaman project), Remi Alvarez, Francisco Lelo de Larrea, Mark Aanderud, Sergio Galvan, Gabriel Gonzalez, Pangea en Platicando with Carlos Alazraki, Agustin Bernal, Rey David Alessandre, Joe d'Etienne, Alejandro Campos on the Matias Ravier Project, Tlaxcaltecatl Latin Jazz Band, Alberto Garcia and La Debla Flamenco.

Their careers continue to thrive as they perform at an extensive list of shows and music festivals across the globe.
