To finalize the First Environmental Festival 2012, Join the Beat on Sunday June 10, 2012 at Parque La Ceiba for a full day of
events and workshops, beginning at 10:00 am. This day will be dedicated to educational
workshops, recreational activities, exhibitions, lectures, performances,
screenings and more, presented to make connections between the different groups
and individuals promoting environmental activities and disseminate information
about their work and join forces.
The goal of this festival is to generate active participation of the attendees,
inviting them to reflect on current worldwide environmental issues. These
events are designed to show participants how they can make a difference locally
and within their sphere of influence simply by changing their attitude and actions
in their day to day life. We look forward to the participation of children,
teens and families who wish to be part of the change.
Workshops: If you would like to host a workshop, please sign up! This invitation is extended to NGOs, environmental associations, governmental representatives,
green schools and other interested parties. The space is free. Workshop leaders
are responsible for their own material.
Green Tianguis (market): If you
would like to be an exhibitor, there is time to reserve your space. The workshop and exhibitors registration
closes on May 20, 2012. For the organic markets, the artwork, crafts and related products or services must
be in harmony with a green economy.
This will be an event to unite efforts and activities. If we all work together
it will be easier to achieve our objectives. Join the beat!
