Saturday January 21, 2012, from 10:00 am - 6:00 pm, Parque la Ceiba will hold its regular "tianguis" (pronounced tee-an-geese). Tianguis is a Nahuatl word from the Aztecs which refers to an open-air market. The Mexican tianguis, traditionally, will be set up on a certain day in certain neighborhood. Swim with the Sailfish in Mexico!

During the winter, Sailfish migrate to the waters surrounding the Yucatan, near Cancun, Isla Mujeres, Holbox. Here they hunt, often in groups of as many as 20, and feed on the abundance of sardines, herding them into bait-balls and feeding like kings.
