Mardi Gras at The Luna Blue - Beads, Boobs, Burgers and Brent!
I'm feeling remarkably well this morning despite Jorge's best efforts to kill me with cocktails last night at The Luna Blue Hotel Mardi Gras Party. Tony, Cheri and their bar staff threw an excellent south of the border style Fat Tuesday celebration complete with Tony's delicious cajun burgers, kick @ss hurricanes and great live music from Brent Parkin. It seemed like the whole stopped by at one point or another to check out the action. While admittedly tame by New Orleans high standards, I can report seeing plenty of drinking, dancing, and no less than three sets of breasts. Rick and Marissa were crowned this year's King and Queen and Sherry came home with the prize for most beads although I don't recall ever seeing her earn them. ;) Without further ado, the photos from the evening!
