The Institute of Culture and the Arts in Cancun invites you all to enjoy the festivities and activities as Death comes to life in Cancun! The event will take place Monday, October 31 to Wednesday, November 2. There will be displays of altars, art activities, an art exhibition, food and lots of surprises for families to enjoy. Tianguis is a Nahuatl word from the Aztecs which refers to an open-air market. The Mexican tianguis, traditionally, will be set up on a certain day in certain neighborhood. Riviera Maya athletes will enjoy the 2nd Annual 5ta Avenida 5 and 10K race scheduled for Sunday October 16, 2011 in Playa del Carmen! The race will go off at exactly 7am, leaving from the Mario Villanueva Stadium on Avenida 10 between calles 28 and 34. Cash prizes will be awarded!
