We are going to repeat the theme of Aparigraha/sharing because that is one of the easiest ways for children to learn how to create harmony in their world. Aparigraha is the sanscrit term asks for the control of greed and the encouragement of sharing. We will learn our word and what it means, chanting, headstands, back bends, chance for your child to briefly lead the class, Apargraha Frisbee Art project, and a closing chant that promotes peace and harmony. This week we will talk about Shauca: purity or cleanliness. We will start the class with learning about our topic followed with some breathing and grounding exercises with OM's and chanting, then we will move into some funky sun salutes, and an exercise where each child gets a chance to briefly lead the class, movements that encourage children to participate in family activities of organization in the home, an art project and our weekly closing chant that ends in an OM and promotes peace and harmony:) Wont you join us this week?
